I'm pretty excited to pick this up tonight. Now should I play the campaign or go straight to online? Decisions, decisions

I always do the campaign first, then MP. Besides, in this game, they're two different developers, two different engines, so they'll play completely differently from each other. So I'll finish SP today and start MP tonight or tomorrow (I'm off this week ).

Same same! A lot of reviewers get paid off but not Kotaku or Joystiq which both rate it high. Report back how you find it!

Sadly, some people are looking for reality in a video game.

It's a distraction, a release, a diversion, and it is cheap competition; nothing more.

I personally enjoyed the beta for what it is. Hell, I'd buy it for the props that EA gave to our guys that helped them with it.

I'll go with the SP first; but I dont understand why the MP was developed by someone different; seems the 'feel' of the game should be similar, no?

OK - here you go...

IT'S ****ING AWESOME. I know some folks who do this shit for real, and I am CERTAIN they had their say. There are a couple of NFW moments, but overall, it's really good. MUCH more realistic than any of the CODs so far. Weapons are spot-on, the chatter on the radio is realistic, etc. Don't believe the 6/10 ratings. I give it 9/10. There is some glitchiness in the framerate, but nothing to cry about.

One of the characters: "What do you want to do?"
Other character: "Let's keep killing mother****ers."

So epic. I'll try MP tomorrow, but this is a good start.

I couldn't wait, so I played some MP tonight... so far... ehhhh. I will give it another shot tomorrow, but it's a little clunky (i.e. movements are not very precise), plus the way the maps are laid out, it really caters to snipers/campers. When people were going head-to-head, I did OK (9/6 K/D avg - high scores were like 15/10 K/D). It's pretty cool to blast dudes WAY across the map, but the campers/snipers have all the avenues of approach figured out and just mow you down anytime you try to make a move.

It reminded me A LOT of MAG. If you like MAG, you'll like MoH MP. If you are used to COD MP (like me), it's tough to get accustomed to. I'll likely level up to wherever until I get COD.

Total scores -

Single Player 9/10
Multiplayer 6/10

Hmmm...? On second thought Chris, I may have you DHL or FedEx this to me after all. Let me track down my compound address and I will PM you. Is it really that good?

All the reviews I read said it basically becomes Taliban wack-a-mole, with baddies popping their heads up and down behind the same cover over and over, and never really doing any flanking or movement. Sounded kind of boring - I hated how COD turned into a turkey shoot sometimes too. Is it more fun than that?
