My best has been a 23-4 game. NOT sniping/camping/etc. I was running around using Spec Ops class with M4/Suppressor/EO-Tech. Just catching dudes creeping 2-3 at a time, then using mortars, rockets, etc. I like the realism.

 

17 and 3 is my best, just running around as a spec ops. I really like the fact no kill cam. Get in a good position, out of sniper fire, and just hose the bastards down! Most the time I suck, maybe a 1.5 to one kill ratio, so that was a really good match for me.

 

If I do slightly better than 1:1 with over 10 kills, I consider that a positive. It's just so demanding once your skill number goes up. The servers match you with similar skill levels, so I'm always playing with dudes of 1900-2100 skill levels. It's rough - no n00bs to pick on.

Is sniping, camping? All of these kills were across the map head on. I was not sitting in a corner waiting for people to run by.

Sniping isn't camping. Camping is sitting in a corner and waiting for people to come by and then shooting them. People do it in dark corners of buildings or behind walls. I hate those ****s. Sniping requires skill and exposes yourself to enemy fire (at least until you get the suppressor!).

So, 2 days in (only getting a couple of hours a day in at most) and I am really liking the reality. This kind of makes me want to go back in and go through Selection... Chris, thanks a ton brother!

Dude, I'm so close to the suppressor on sniper rifles. I'll rock the M21 with the combat scope (ACOG), suppressor, and open-tip ammo. Should be awesome. That Taliban sniper rifle (not the SVD) is wicked, too. And I am also very close to getting the muzzle brake for the rifleman class - that brake on the M249 will be amazing too. The other thing I love is the transition to the pistol is very fast and the pistol does a solid job smoking fools.

 

Haven't read this thread, but I'm debating - do I get this? Or do I just wait for COD (and which COD??!?!?!) Explanations? Thanks guys!
