The car is being re-assembled now - should be done in the next month or so. There will be an extensive library of photos detailing the rebuild. Stuff like the new rings being installed on the pistons, the connecting rods getting remounted to the crankshaft, and the engine bay getting "tranny-licked" which is what we've jokingly always call a crazy level of detailing down to the frame. Of course, I'll then proceed to drive it in the rain, but what the heck it will be fun to see while it lasts.

Stay tuned...glad a few of you are enjoying the teardown shots.

 

Did you take pics of showing a reference to how big those cylinders are?

I'm quite interested to see.
