I know that if I ever buy a Ferrari, it'll be a manual. My next performance car(s) will be manual. As mentioned before, if you have a manual car, there will always be a buyer. Plus, a 599 is not exactly the car that people "worry" about selling.

I have driven/sold a manual 599 and loved it. Personally I vote for the manual and I don't think you would be disappointed at all. I also do not think resale will be a problem, and I would be happy to help you if that time comes.
