Nicke, we could easily do the drive down together (in separate cars off course).
I'd be interested in a bit of cost cutting though, I'm not too keen on spending $4k on hotels etc and I think that a less expensive option could suit some more young guys as well.

Guys just remember - once we get a list of people, as our numbers go up, their numbers will come down.

I told them we could possibly have 20 people in 10 cars. I am hoping we'll have far more.

Sounds like a good plan! Some cost cutting is never wrong either.

All this to hook up with LABrit and Jox? Sheeshh.

I may actually consider it ... but I'd ship my bike! no car is worthy of those euro roads when you have a bike in your garage! I remember fondly those Spanish backroads ... ooooooooh heaven on 2 wheels!

Not remotely joking but for what it could cost you in shipping your bike you'd be better off buying a used one in Europe and selling it at the end of the trip. I bet it's cheap to rent a bike actually.

Sounds good. Just no more new watches to place on your gal's boobies for a few months (and post pics of bare boobies).

I was going to say renting isn't cheap, but it is compared to renting a P-car!

It can be surprisingly cheap to ship a bike ... after all it gently fits in a small crate. Cheaper than renting for 2 weeks for sure.
edit - I just saw estimates for 3-500$ (not air freight, obviously), so possibly a round trip for under a grand, with no mileage or duration limit, and I don't get brutally raped by the goddam exchange rate. Me likey. Oh crap, now all I'm going to think of, wait, dream of is hitting those little backroads on my beloved motosickkle. I need to find an excellent reason why I can not make it and focus on actually working a little!

Buying a euro bike that I couldn't get here is extemely appealing though
