Haha, heard that before. In all honesty though you could only smash a midget in the back because it's not all that large.

 

Guys don't worry - we've most likely toasted the costly idea in favor of something more affordable so more people could join in. After all, the people in this rally is what it's all about.

I could well be in... I'd be driving my own car from London if anyone wants a spare seat

as a guide to renting a cheap(er) car, earlier in the year I took a rental from London to France for a week with 2 drivers (both under 25) for £500

 

I have a suggestion for all of you guys, if you are thinking of doing this during the summer (didn't get a chance to read the entire article). You are I'm sure, coming over to Italy, Switzerland, Austria and the countries near by, so why not drop a visit to Croatia that time? There is a city called Rijeka some 80km from the Slovenia and Italia there. And what is so important about it? Well, besides the most beutifull blue seas and the coastal towns, there is a race track 5km from Rijeka, where the Motor Grand Prix was held during the 80s and 90s and it's an amazing track, set in the mountains overlooking the Adriatic Sea and you can rent it. The prices aren't that high, lot of people with supercars go there during the winter to race, there is no snow usualy there. Near that area you have 3-4 five star hotels, numereous hotels, villas, private accomodations and so on with that. If you like, I can get you a couple of photos of the track, the city, the sea and everyting you need.

 

^That coastal road is really nice but I wasn't too blown away with the country itself. Food is teh suck and driving through Slovenia was a pain.
