Exactly the buttons on my C4S were not bad at all.

buttons dont look as cool.....thats about it. Guys on the internet (no saying this to anyone specific) always knock them but like Chris said - never tried them. I personally perfer the paddles after having a good amount of time with both - but dont hate the buttons

Yep - rented a Boxster with the buttons for a week in Scottsdale. The shifts were very slow and I simply did not care for the feel of using the buttons. It's possible having a more powerful engine with the C4S could make a difference but this particular car was not a great experience.

Agree with the BMW - those are silly.
