All wheels are on, car is on the ground. They'll be doing the airbag, seatbelt, interior trim this week and then off to the paint shop next week. When it gets back they'll put in the remaining suspension bits (underway), install the new front rotors I dropped off this morning, fix the aluminium, and then it's road test time!

Oh hell yes

Mechanic will be sitting in the passenger seat, discussed it with him today. Hopefully I won't scare the crap out of him.

When they first told me they just said curb and lamp post. I was picturing something like this... Imagine my heartbeat!

I hope they fired the guy who did that. It needs to go beyond him. Fact is if someone was fvcking around in your car, said mechanic and most likely others must be pretty comfortable in everything else (as you noted in the S6) so obviously this is happening frequently. Makes me wonder what in the hell the higher ups are thinking.
