Ive had pc problems as in my XPS DIED...its still being repaired atm...urg ive had to deal with a IPOD touch for my daily internet for last lil while and it doesnt allow me to post on TS...FAIL

What made you decide to change the wheels? The new ones look good, but I loved the black ones.

 

The rims were originally silver and were painted before I bought the car. I loved the black too, but the paint job was actually pretty bad.

I had bought the titanium wheels a while ago (got a good deal) just to switch tires. If they ever get damaged I'll probably go black again. Shame to waste the factory paint job for now, it's actually very nice up close.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at how they looked when I saw them on. I didn't think they were dark enough to really pop with the silver.

 

That's cool, I don't blame you for going with the titanium wheels while you have them. You can't really go wrong either way. They both look great.

 

Seems the original front shocks that came with the car have been superseded and are no longer available. The new shocks have different valving and will need different springs and require all 4 corners to be matched. Insurance was adamant they'd only change what was damaged before, will see what they say now. Hopefully we can get them here fast.

 

If that happened to me. My heart would have dropped. I can't believe it. Ive if it wasn't my car and I just happened to be in the same lobby as you I would probably be more pissed. Even sitting here Im starting to get angry. I hate shit like this.

I've been following this since the first news broke on Jalopnik. It's a shame how much hate was spewed at you. It's amazing how hostile people get when they are the slightest big jealous.

This whole thing has been a nightmare, and we're all hoping it's over soon. Good luck!
