Glad to see everything is going "great" and I hope you get your baby back soon
I can't describe what my feeling would be if that happened to my $35k car, let alone a G, I respect that you are dealing with it the way you are

I've fallen a bit behind on updating this thing...
4 new shocks, springs, front left upper control arm, lug nuts, oil seal, and 2 floor panels ordered from AMH parts arrived. I set them up for the ride height I wanted and dropped them off at the dealer where they were promptly installed. Afterwards I realized that since these shocks were different with thinner shims the ride height would be lower than I expected.
It turned out ok except that for some reason the left front is about 5/8's lower despite having the exact same preset. Ride height was fine before so no idea why these new shocks are off. Maybe they'll settle, we'll have a closer look at alignment time.
I was told yesterday that the bolt connecting the rear lower control arm to the spindle wasn't in and hadn't been ordered due to a miscommunication. Glen @ AMH did a fantastic job and got one delivered to my door from 600miles away before I even finished breakfast!
Then there was some discussion on how the steering tie-rod had been straightened (vise & hammer) and the lead mechanic did not want me driving on it and insisted on it being replaced. Problem is Lambo will only sell the ENTIRE steering rack as a unit. Glen is working on finding a parts car they can take just the arm off in the interest of saving time.
SO...
Waiting for steering rod, then control arm bolt will be installed, ride height issue will be looked at (and hopefully resolved), wheel well liners installed and then alignment and road test can take place. After that we can change the oil seal, install door mouldings, and weld the gouge on the front subframe and we're DONE. Hoping 3 weeks max.

Thanks! I'm trying to figure out the uneven ride height.
The frame is fine. Often these things are bushings tightened in the wrong position but the design of the arms on the Gallardo makes that impossible. However both arms are brand new on the driver side, maybe the bushings are stiff and preventing the suspension from fully extending... Or maybe the sway bar is bent, though I would have thought this would have been noticed.

Yes
I think the people at the garage are a bit fed up with my almost daily visits
Though I'm super anxious about the little quirks. I hate weird unexplainable stuff.
