If they would have taken care of the situation I would def push anyone to purchase one. And we'd just consider mine a bad apple.
BUT, since they only option I have is to trade it in. I'd buy something where the maker stands behind there product a little more.

love the SLS & plan to buy one in the future. this thread would not stop me from buying, but it doesn't surprise me how u're handled either. i do feel ur pain. i would be pissed as well.

Why can't a company make a headlight that does condense? I just don't understand why they just don't make a better quality headlight, install it in future model sls's and then replace any problem cars now and be done with it. It's just poor quality parts and poor quality service. It's th world we live in

First off Bisan.... man this has to suck big time, so I feel for you.
Second I can not believe the epic incompetence by the MB dealership and the main HQ.... I just can't..... and I used to own a MB, and never had a sqwawk.
If I were in your shoes, I would never driven the car back nor forward from/to my home. I would have make them pay for the delivery. Come on... this is no 20k car... this is a big check, pinnacle of pride item for the brand.
With all due respect, I have to say that you have been screwed by your dealership.
At this moment I would definitely talk with the owner of the dealership and the main AMG HQ in Germany..... this really does not add up to me with my prior experience with MB.
I am not saying that I do not believe you, but if I am shelling that much money for a car I expect the same service in return and you are not getting much if any in return.
Hope everything ends up well, and better off with a brand new SLS and a couple of MB bags , polos, golf bags, at least half of the MB merchandise catalog for all your pain.
