ironically my phone asked me to do the update again when i recently plugged it into my macbook, and I clicked OK and it said " your phone already has the update d00d "... ever since its been good.

Okay, so now we are talking about apps no one will want to use. If the guys in Tel Aviv start doing it there may be concern

I think the big thing we'll see is more cross platform integration and HTML 5. But windows phone apps will be the last to make sure are perfect

Did you know SIRI was actually developed by an Indian company for iOS and android. Apple took over the company and did away with products for other OSs.
