I've experienced a big of lagging with Safari occasionally as well...even with an i7 iMac with 16GB RAM. There's been lots of talk about the program still leaking memory on various Apple forums, and hopefully it'll get resolved soon.

Just updated to the 10.7.2 beta, will let you guys know if it improves performance. Looking forward to the next Safari update (beta or official) more than anything.

There's an uncanny resemblance between the new Mail and Outlook - like it much better. Also like the explanation of gestures in the System Preferences!

That is one of a select few features I actually like in Lion.

MrD, the only thing I can think of is the animations and such slowing the machine down. Everything is a bit heavier in Lion.

I dont know seriously... Its ok.. not that bad...

an other thing.. you guys know when you shut down now you can tell to reopen the apps automatically at restart...

well if i do that why do the apps of my second desktop go straight to the first first desktop? isnt there a way for them to open again in the second app?
