I downloaded it last night on my MB Pro and I love it. I noticed that safari is waaaay improved. I may start using that again instead of Chrome.

You can change them back to the previous behavior, see my post about it a page or two back.

That's odd, mine felt instantly faster.

Do you have plenty of RAM and free hard drive space?

yes I restarted a few times since the install.

I have the feeling that when opening the apps it just takes longer... that is the only thing...

Should I upgrade to Lion?

My MBP is circa Nov/2007. It's still kicking, but I will be replacing it come the end of this year. Should I bother updating to Lion for the next few months despite the fact that I won't have any of the multitouch features available to me? I'm kind of busy these days and upgrading the OS isn't on the top of my todo list. Suggestions?
