F-8 is coming.... no doubt.... Adding 2 cyl. to a F-6 is a simpler job now that they have more room in the car.... I can't wait.

In this day and age, when every car maker (including Porsche) is trying to cut down on cylinders and cubic capacity citing fuel-economy, efficiency and the environment, I highly doubt Porsche is going to build a flat-8 mill.

Think about it. Porsche's planned flagship car, the 918, has two electric motors and a V8. Every car in their stable now has the stop-start tech. They're trying to force the PDK down everyone's throats (that 7th cog will ensure good economy)
