They said it was the gas cap. I'm going to tell the dude "Look, I know how to screw on the f'ing gas cap - it's got to be something else" or have them try a different cap. It's ridiculous. If it does it again, I'll be writing PCNA a nasty-gram.

) - one of the other things the guy suggested at the dealership was possibly a fuse. I think a sensor could be the culprit, too. The worst gas I used was 90 octane (highest available in N. Texas!), but it's been all 91 from then on. I definitely get worse gas mileage with the 10% ethanol stuff, but I can't think that contributed to a CEL.
Hopefully I get an answer tomorrow morning - if any of you are near Hoehn Porsche tomorrow around 7:30 am, pop in and say hi!

Thanks for the support - we're off to the local this morning to get it sorted. If they can't/won't help, I'll just ignore it and draft a nice, long letter to PCNA.
Alex - I saw a car exactly like that here. It's up for auction at $125,000-$150,000 with no reserve. There is a SuperLeggera also for auction around the same price. The white LP560-4 is really loaded, too.

Well, another CEL... You can bet your ass I checked the gas cap, oil cap, etc. I may just ignore it until Tuesday when I drop it for service @ Stevens Creek, but it's pretty damn annoying. I was told it takes 3 hot/cold cycles to clear it, so tomorrow morning is 3 cycles - I'll let you know what happens. I'm not real pleased.
good luck Chris just paid close to a grand for two sets of new O2 sensors.

On a more serious note, did they check if the gas cap was leaky or defective in some way? I'm not sure if you mentioned it before.
