Future 430 owner?
#13
I just built my 5 car dream garage.
I realize you probably think that I'm just another guy dreaming, but a 430 (or something else like it) is attainable for me. It's actually very attainable if I change my priorities around, but in the long run, it would be foolish of me to do that.
Anyway, I've been seriously thinking about this for some time now, and I was hoping someone here with some experience could answer my questions.
Thanks, gentleman.

to the Team. The 430 is a fabulous car in all aspects and hopefully you will attain one as soon as you can. There are a ton of 430 owners on here so you will get all your questions answered shortly I presume. Welcome again.

I'm actually planning on picking up an F430 as well. I test drove one a few months ago and it was simply amazing. I drove a 360 CS in the same day, and it was two different experiences. The 430 was faster, but it didn't seem faster cause the CS doesn't have as much sound dampening. The CS seemed like a more fun car to drive, but the 430 just seemed more practical. This all probably doesn't help, but what I think I'm trying to get at is test out different Ferrari's to see which fits your style of driving and whatnot.

Dan,
Since I originally posted this thread, I've decided against the 430.
Write up here: https://teamspeed.com/forums/458-430...est-drive.html
Ultimately, I just didn't feel it was worth the price of admission - while it was a fun car to drive, there were far too many compromises. I now have my sights set on an R8.
