I really agree with that. Had a PAM 312, and was bored with it very quickly. They all look the same, nice but of not interest to me.
I am drawn to AP, Patek, and JLC. Maybe when I am 20 years older I will also be into A.lange and comparable brands.

AP is trendy, but also has great quality. I do agree that the prices on some of the ROO's are not worth it at all. I would happily pay 12 to 15k for a ROO, but over 20 or 30k, now way.

The only AP ROO that interests me is the Diver. None of the rest are worth the asking price IMHO. Hell, the AP Diver can be had for mid $12K's these days.

Buckhead; I guess the quotation marks around "ritzy" weren't ironic . I live on Piedmont, work on Peachtree. I just rarely see WIS wristwear - usually more pedestrian, if still nice, watches. Of course, plenty of nice rides in this area so I just don't get it.

No doubt but they are the best quality sport watches , Hublot is crap. And speaking of absurd rip-off prices look at RM...

I just picked up a Diver a month ago for high 12k's. Love it more then any of the other ROO's.
