With LV, just stick with the Suhali bags. They are "can't miss" gifts.

okay so i got a call from vca just now, bad news
shipment arrives and the ring i want is not available in the size i need (53), he only has it in 51. did tell me about other models, so i will take a look when i can to consider options.
i will try to "steal" some of her rings tonight if i could to see if the 51 can be of use for the other fingers

this opens cartier wide open, but they too don't have the double hearts diamonds in stock

getting harder to find the time to go browse now, but i'll keep my cool and see what to do

Watch out for setting too high of a standard on year one.
This.

Boy did I do this backwards. Diamond is the 50, 60, and 75 year anniversary gift. We celebrate 15 years on Wednesday.

I wonder if Mrs. Gobbles will be ok with it if I tell her "hey, you're already set for the next 60 years...."

I´ve been married to the same women for 25 years so I would find it easy to buy here nice things, but that is not always a fact Maybe because we all change and like different things in different periods of life.

So for our 25 Y day my wife told me what she wanted, we even went to look at it together and clarified all the specifications. That made here happy, and it made me happy too!

And in a long time relation ship you often talk about what you like and not and that makes things easy when you want to make your love happy with a gift!

But the surprise moment is always nice too, and to maintain a long relationship this is necessary, this shows that you give with your heart to your women. My wife needed a new car and without she knowing what was going on, I had spotted just the car she wanted, and one saturday I took here to the store (audi) and let here take a run in the exact same car she wanted, and asked here if she liked it. She sad yes and I surprised here by saying that we ordered a new one for here. (Also a gift for the 25 Y of marriage). She got the car in april, and wont hardly let me borrow it

When you are younger you might not afford expensive things, but if it is true love you and your women will enjoy the simple things in life and LOVE. It is always the thought behind the gift or surprise that means a lot to your partner!

To give love is always easy!

Gobbles,
congrats on the 15yrs bro, wishing you the best from here on!

Fredrik, that is EXCELLENT. i love reading about stories like this, and i sincerely wish you an eternal bond in the best of health for your children, family, and friends

so 2 minutes after my last post i glance at my watch and say what the hell. passed by vca to check the ring out in person and also check on cartier's 2-heart pendant.
could not resist the ring, esp knowing that it would sell in less than a week. absolutely beautiful in real AND i was pleasantly surprised with the thickness of the ring as shown in the pic attached.
agreed with the salesman on how to proceed after my wife tests it (which she did and prefers a larger size); we agreed that i do not want a refund in any case, and in case we cannot source a larger size i would have credit at the boutique. by the time i return it tomorrow, he would have called the Dubai boutique for a size 53 and we'll take it from there.
my wife loved it but said she was okay with another motif (mother of pearl), but i declined because i LOVED her reaction and she mentioned her necklace within 5 seconds. so i was happy i went with the matching-route as i guessed/now know this is what she has in mind

pretty proud of myself atm if i may say so 2 down, 1 to go.

cartier in kuwait do not stock the pendant i want. i learned my lesson: never shop on the US e-boutique and get hopes up
did not find many things in the store that i would consider atm, except for the 4 leaf motif.

i saw many different models, and while "nice", they do not fit what i have in mind and obviously i will not just go with anything for the sake of it.
still, i asked them to ask around the Gulf boutiques for the 2-heart, and made it clear i have no problem ordering one if need be (and save it for her bday in Nov). they said it would take 2-4 months though saleswoman was awesome, very polite and helpful.

i did find this at Piaget, and while it's a 2-heart, it didn't really move me so i'm just sharing here and hopefully can assist someone by this in the future

looking fwd to adding a 3rd bag and have the peace of mind to get back to my cars, watches, and mesabeeh (stone beads)

^ thanks bro, you should check it out if you have an occasion coming up. it's available in size 51.

i went in to return the tiger today, and agreed to be credited.
but when they showed me the white gold, i called my wife & sent her pictures. she said she WANTS the white gold/mother of pearl to wear along with her wedding band (pic above)
also threw in the heart pendant, but she doesn't know about it yet was glad it was not the same style as her YG

saw this bracelet as well, really nice

told them to keep me in the loop, as i am still waiting on cartier to get back to me. and i will decide what to do or if there's anything else i am getting

If I found that offensive I would have no business being on this site. No worries.

You are spoiling your wife, but I must say I like your style. Congrats again on Ajwan. Best to you all.

I think this thread missed an exit.

You have entered a forum where the males have testicles. Males lacking testicles was a few exits back at *** where this thread would be welcomed.
