This thread can only give ideas

No doubt women are close but all so different. I can hand select anything for my wife from earrings to purses because I know her. Im also about 100% on gifts for any woman mainly because I pay attention to the women I am with and understand their desires.

So don't buy a name brand because she's supposed to like it buy a gift your woman would want.

LV is funny in their stores. I tried on 5 pairs of shoes the other day and the woman was cold the whole time. Its mainly the woman LV pics to sell their product. Mostly asian except the gay men and mostly cold with no personality. While they should be warm and fuzzy its the stupid name brand recognition that keeps them arrogant. Funniest thing about LV is they are the biggest pirated bag in the world and most likely half the bags you see on the street are fakes. This imho takes away from the LV name. My wife only has a few LV bags in her closet and except for one are all short run very rare not seen by the main public. Those are the bags you should buy. Not the run of the mill straight off the shelf bags.

That being said Chanel makes some of the best and classiest things made. They continually hold and stay in fashion and the stuff looks great on a women. Its expensive but wtf do I get to say. I've got my share of expensive toys as well so my wife not only deserves the bags but has full right to buying them herself.

Bags are tough to choose guys unless you really know them because it has to Feel right on her and that's a tough thing to know.

Jewelery also tough because plain diamonds are a touch boring bit stepping out and picking a perfect necklace or earrings even tougher. I am always on the look out for something exciting and different for my bride wherever I go. That being said only 1 in 1000 things I view is good enough for her IMO.

Last gifts for her she loved
Bell and Ross phantom black ceramic watch w diamonds and a new diamond cross, I've probably looked at over 500 cross's in the past 2 years with or without her to pick the latest and she loves it

Again know your woman and all things purchased are SOOOOO EASY. If you don't know her and just buy a name brand you are doing it wrong.

KT I think I could easily pick out stuff for you you seem to have pretty good taste for a girl

In the States paper is the first anniversary gift.

Get her an nice card and fill it with words from the heart......you will Win every time

Watch out for setting too high of a standard on year one.

One Rose or One of her favorite flower only says you are Extremely thoughtful but totally get how important your first year with her has been. Mention this in the note to her.

This kind of thing will make her crumble "believe me"

I once bought my wife....girlfriend at the time 12 dozen roses with a simple note. " one flower for every time I thought of you today"

Simple stuff wins every time. I could have had her and all of her girlfriends that night

Cartier post

shortlisting more stuff to view at cartier to decide if there's anything to be added to the vca ring (both shops are at the same mall). also since ramadhan is coming up, and then the new term starting, i would like to decide on a bday gift before life gets hectic again since i'm in the zone. personal gifting preference would be jewelry over a bag.

hope this will be beneficial to you guys now or in the future! let's keep this alive for our better halves

1. hearts of cartier pendant chain, saw it and instantly thought of how it could be very symbolic.

it would go very well i think with the wedding band she picked when i took her to choose during our engagement

2. even more symbolic to what i have in mind, this is just brilliant!! and i would not mind sporting it when i get back to my 8% bodyfat post cut phase had it been in platinum

unfortunately way out of budget for now

3. these were mentioned above in a previous post, beautiful in real life. but does not make as much sense after viewing no.2 above since the ring is a much more daily thing given my wife wears Hijab + be that as it may,

highly recommend you gents check these earrings out in real

You're welcome. I'll have to decline your other request, I'm sure you understand. 40 days is nothing..it'll be good for you. Not as good for her if you get my meaning, but you can try and make it up.

Agreed on the first point, it really is a gamble for a man to pick out a bag without his woman having tried it on.

I think that last sentence is a compliment, but I'm not exactly sure. Lol
