Isn't Rolex something you get your grandfather for going in the old folks home?

I respectfully disagree sir. Ladies Rolex is a classy piece, especially Masterpiece with oyster band in SS with roman numbers. That being said, Cartier Tank Francaise is the perfect elegant, timeless, classic, watch for women. Can't go wrong with with either one.

Hater.

When we were down in Laguna I fell in love with a 31mm Datejust, diamond bezel, stainless..I think it retailed for around 10.5K. AD said they could do it for somewhere around 9.2 iirc.

Congrats to your daughter!

You peeps from Cali and Nevada don't count

I guess I will never get the stigma of the corvette gold chain wearing rolex wearing person out of my mind.

That's not your wife BigE. Just the Stigma that floats with the brand. To be fair I don't look at many female watches.

These look so much better in person..the purple is more like a deep midnight blue, it's nothing like the pic. I actually like the band (minus the gold) on the second watch. Anyone know if they are interchangeable?

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
If you want a BNIB (brand new in box) Explorer II, I know some very reputable sellers that can get it at a nice discount compared to an AD. PM me if you are interested.
