Rolex Question

Back when even the Daytona was understated, and Sean Connery was making the no date, big crown Sub a symbol of class and cool that modern Bonds can't hope to touch.

This Rolex Sub Mariner was my first "fine" watch.
My wife bought it for me when I finished my first year of law school.
I was wearing this watch when I had my motorcycle accident in 2009. It was torn apart. My wife had it fully rebuilt for me.
I will always treasure it. But I have moved on to other makers since.

If I'm being honest, I still struggle with this feeling myself. This is probably the biggest reason that modern Rolex watches do not appeal to me. Vintage, on the other hand... is pure cool in my book.

KT that blue purple looks pretty good. I'm just not into bracelet watches.
