Watch suggestions for $5k?
#21
Might not be popular around here but the Ananta is a pretty slick watch for around that price (if you are cool with spending $5K on a seiko), or check out Maurice de Mauriac, Louis Erard, Sinn, IWC, Oris, Bremont, or wait for Cartier's new Calbre watch, though I think the MSRP on that will be a shade over $6K, but you get a true in-house movement...

I agree with the consensus - Panerai, Rolex etc.. I've also been really happy with my Bell & Ross.
I was able to get this for $3,950 out the door. in that price range I think it's a good route to go (although you don't get an in-house movement)

Make sure you account for AT LEAST 20% off the retail price. NEVER pay retail price for a watch.
Breitling is within your range. Just stay away from the big gaudy models as rappers have really lowered the appeal of models such as the Bentley or Navitimer...not sure if those are even in the range with discount

Baller on a budget, PVD / Rose, looks suprisingly good.

Just picked up a Longines Hydroconquest yesterday. Tough choice between the Tag Heuer Aquaracer and Omega Seamaster.
