Brand new Submariner is only about 7k, but I would just get a slightly used one that is in good condition for about 4k. IMO its the best daily beater watch for casual or professional look.
I love the AP diver for a much more expensive sporty watch then a sub.
JLC and IWC have some amazing looking watches with great complications. I really have little interest in most other watch makers in that price range.

 

For 9500 Ill sell you my navitimer, admirals cup 48 and admirals cup 44.

for 15grand I buy a used AP safari, navy, rubberclad, volcano
