This is the Panerai in question; a Panerai 5218-203/A limited edition of wich 200 pieces were made in 1994. Pics:

Love the PVD finish... I have a couple of PVD models myself.

The Panerai website has a section with all of their authorized dealers. Once you decide on the model call a few and get the pricing. At least for now, the pricing should be what is shown in the price list link Jim posted. I bought one from an out of state AD since my local guy didn't have the model I wanted. It was sent via overnight/before 10am delivery at no extra cost.

I actually have this question:

Why does the 40mm have the cool face (almost carbon/textured look)



But the 44mm version looked so plain...

I believe that is called a hobnail dial. My PAM028a has that as well.
