^ excellent choice and plan
as much as i love both the 5980 and 5712, the 26 with its leather strap is just a classier watch, and a great deal since it is steel. the dial is cleaner, and the functions are much more useful for all Patek intentions.
such a gentleman's watch. my only worry is that it might be a tad small, but i need to try one on before i make a conclusion (if it wears like a 40mm rolex, it will be PERFECT)

i am so glad i found one for this price (seller seems he can budge as well) because i never saw one go for less than 36k
