I need to go get some sushi soon. I think the best sushi I have ever had was in this old country buffet that was turned into a japanese restaurant in Ontario, CA. Simply amazing. I don't remember what we got maybe tiger roll and something else. We also got some other stuff and just the quality of the fish and rolls we top notch. Its hard to top the fresh sushi we usually have here in Seattle too

 

Next time I'm in Cali visiting, I will let you guys know and lets get together for Sushi!!

Time to update this thread. Awhile back I lost the batteries and the charger to my point and shoot somewhere. I've finally gotten around to replacing them. Without further ado, on to the food.

Sushi Kenji - 6/15/09

Tako Ceviche - Octopus, cucumbers, yuzu juice, jalapeno, cilantro.



Baked Pink Scallop - Spicy mayo and masago.



Seafood Pie - Crab, halibut and shrimp with mayo and panko. Sweetened ponzu with daikon oroshi.

 

Kabuki - 6/18/09

Scallop and Shishito - Grilled scallop with spicy salt. Saute'd shishito with sumiso.



Mirugai with Spicy Nameko - King clam with baby mushrooms and spicy miso topped with spicy rice crackers.



Shitake - Grilled mushroom sushi with wasabi salt.



Spicy Beef - Seared NY steak, saute'd jalapeno and red onions.
