Sushi USA - 11/29

Grilled Shrimp Salad - Grilled shrimp, mixed greens, sesame/soy dressing.



Chicken Karaage Soup - Fried chicken nuggets, bamboo shoots and shitake mushrooms in a spicy chinese style broth.



Sashimi Plate - Chu (medium) Toro, tsubugai (conch), kazunoko (herring roe).



Ume, Tako, Kyu - Octopus, salted plum, cucumber, yuzu juice.

i'm not sure if there is a season for okra. take knows that janet and i both like okra so he keeps some around every now and then.

kabuki as usual. they were pretty crowded as well, but they squeezed us in.

Ikura Oroshi - Salmon roe over grated turnip.



Aji Salad - Spanish mackerel, radish sprouts, cucumber, green onion.



Gindara Foil - Black cod steamed in soy and garlic with enoki mushrooms.



Tai Kawa Sunomono - Sea breem skin with pickled cumcumbers.



Baked Oysters



Yosenabe - Seafood soup.



Wifey Roll - Shrimp tempura, avocado, spicy mayo, bake blue crab on top.



Fried Shrimp - Salt and pepper, Chinese style.



Age Dashi Tofu - Deep fried tofu with broth.



Shiro Maguro Tataki - Seared albacore with spicy yuzu sauce.

The albacore looks delicious! I am always hesitant to click on this thread when you update since I am finally down to fighting weight and it always makes me want to eat

My first sushi meal of the New Year.

Maguro Oroshi - Tuna with grated turnip and green onions.



Saute'd Awabi - Abalone with shitake and asparagus.



Salmon Special - Fried salmon roll with crispy salmon skin and cream sauce. Red snapper cheeks with yuzu kosho on the side.



Kani Dango - Crab fritters, eel sauce and garlic aioli.



Croquette - Potato patty with spicy baked crab topping.



Negi Gyu - Beef sashimi with scallions and sesame sauce.

Spicy Shrimp - Shrimp with spicy garlic sauce and crispy rice noodles.



Age Dofu - Fried tofu, unagi, scallions, masago, soy gravy.



Kani Pancake - Potato and crab cake with ao nori and spicy mayo.



Fish Cocktail - Marinated tuna and halibut with kiwi and grapefruit.

So, we met with Mr Kram at Kabuki and it easily exceeded our expectations.

We had most of the dishes pictured here via Omakase, and they were delicious.

I think Kabuki is going to be a regular place for us.

Thanks for the recommendation and the dinner, mr Kram!
