Moving to Phoenix for the summer

Last week I was offered a summer job in Phoenix, anyone from the area have any suggestions on places to avoid?

I am hoping to get a good deal and spend the summer in a hotel, if that does not work are there any areas of town with a lot of vacation condos that might be empty this time of the year?

+1 --- Was just thinking Phoenix is not the place to be heading TO for the summer, but good luck with the job.

The don't be fooled, it is hot there in the summer, but I've vacationed there twice during that time and have no regrets and would go again. Phoenix and the surrounding areas (i.e. Scottsdale) are just cool places to be. I would love to go back in the winter/cooler months to see what it would be like "in season" there.

Congrats on the job btw. Are you in your first year? My brother is in 1L and looking for a summer job right now.

I have been numerous times in the summer. Great town, HOT women!!!!!! With the hot weather, they are usually dressed in as little as possible. Fun nightlife, especially in Scottsdale.
