Steakhouse Wars!

I ate at CUT at the Beverly Wilshire a few years ago. Expensive, very expensive.....
The steak was really good. The sides were amazing. Service was excellent. Eye candy everywhere. Clint Eastwood was sitting 3 tables over. Elton John (and his entourage) were seated at the other end of the place.
Overall great experience.
Best "steakhouse" meal for me, outside of Peter Luger in NY and Gene & Georgetti in Chicago was definitely Maestro's Ocean Club. Best eye candy has been Fleming's at Fashion Island.

I think STL just got an Abe&Louie's. Another place is St Elmos in Indy, food was fair and i was there during the F1 weekend, had a drink with Lewis Hamilton's father. Also ran into Fisichella out front.

I have been there once, last year, I agree it has some of the best steaks I've ever tasted! I love Modo Mia (Italian food), its also in Crystal Cove.
