Hendrix and SRV for sure, although I harbor the fear that Jimi would have settled into the kind of middle-aged pompous monotony that befell Clapton, or more likely a crushing, but not fatal, drug dependency that robbed him of that spark.
SRV had been through all of that, and was well on his way to even better work than he had accomplished already.
