There was a VH1 Classic show on Syd, or maybe it was Palladia.

Another vote for SRV.

I think nirvana's (and kurt's) appeal was that they weren't good. Listen to negative creep, or in the pines from the NY unplugged. Raw as hell, unpolished, but the feeling is what makes it worthwhile.

You guys are too gullible sometimes.

Although I did like Michael's music, I really don't miss him all that much.

i wish i had chance to be at their concert before they were dead...
but John left 8 years before i was born, and Freddie left when i was 3.
didn't have chance to see Michael since i was too busy with life.

Which is what early grunge/ garage is. Doesn't justify it, it only justifies my opinion of them been utter crap.

Sure, some of the lyrics were well written ( the ones you can here ), and at the end of day it's just not my type of music.

One of my favorites and I bet most of you never heard of him, he would have been a "legend" had he lived:

Tommy Bolin (Deep Purple, James Gang, TB Band)

Howlin Wolf
Muddy Waters
