For a non-custom piece, Kimber makes very nice shooting .45's

I have a Ultra Carry TLE and absolutely love it.

I just bought a Colt blued Gold Cup National Match. I drove myself crazy looking at 1911's and found a few different brands I liked alot with in my $800-$1200 price range. This is my 1st 1911 but will not be my last. I'll probably get a Wilson Combat next.
