You just wanted to play with your tool in front of a dude.
Ryan, skinny and packing is no different than a big guy carrying. A firearm has the potential to cause an unnatural shape on your person. In fact, it can be even worse for a big guy. I'm 6'1", 220'ish, and I don't have a big waste for my size. It is all how you position your platform. You can't beat the combination that Chris the tool tugger showed in his first post in this thread.

That is roughly my size and the comp tac minotaur is comfortable to sit, stand, or move. They have it available for most any gun.

Just go to the Blackhawk Site and look up "belts" - the ones I pointed out were the "tactical instructor belt" and the "concealment cqc belts". On the other site, it's just the Glock site. I'd recommend a 19 for concealed carry.
b9ev - I used to carry a 1911 in a really good belt holster under an overshirt or with a vest (before those were played out like fanny packs). Another problem with carrying on the belt (esp. if you're not supposed to be carrying), is that if you reach up for something, your shirt may come down on the grip safety/hammer and be visible for the world to see. Ask me how I know...
Glocks + IWB = no sharp edges, no exposed hammers, very lightweight

I wear a nice Columbia or North Face shirt that is a little baggy, kind of like what you see everyone in Hawaii or Newport Beach wearing (like a Tommy Bahama button down), minus all of those obnoxious flowers. Whether I reach up, sit down, or stand all day, it doesn't show. I also wear a Blackhawk riggers belt or a 5.11 one. Both work well for me. Go to a gun store that has these things (you may have to call around) and try the IWB and OWB holsters, and most likely they will let you use a pistol to test/check the fit and look concealed as well. My $0.02....

Most of the time I carry the setup I posted on the page before, with a bobbed hammer. The 1911s tend to come with me to my office where it doesn't really matter too much if I get seen with a gun (although I still would prefer it to be unseen).
