Agreed. I work with a guy that is 6' and 155. He uses a Serpa OWB like mine and conceals it just fine. That is why I prefer the Glock; they are very concealable using an IWB or OWB holster.

That Shooting Systems holster works so well, I was able to conceal a .50 Desert Eagle under a t-shirt and shorts. A Glock 19 and that holster should disappear even on the skinniest guy. The key thing to remember is to get a SUPPORTED belt (i.e. plastic or steel liner) to keep your platform stable. Too many times I see dudes rocking their Gap belt and it starts to sag or fold over. I like this belt:

BLACKHAWK! Instructors Gun Belt - BLACKHAWK!

You can get more conventional-looking belts too:

A .50 concealed? Did you do that just to say that you did it? That would feel a bit uncomfortable to sit down with, me thinks... Rock n' rolla!!

Blackhawk does make some great gear though.

Yeah, .50 Desert Eagle. Right down the front. The customer was bitching about something (I used to sell guns), so I said hold on a sec. When he complained that the SIG P228 would be tough to conceal, I whipped out the .50. SOLD.

You just wanted to play with your tool in front of a dude.

Ryan, skinny and packing is no different than a big guy carrying. A firearm has the potential to cause an unnatural shape on your person. In fact, it can be even worse for a big guy. I'm 6'1", 220'ish, and I don't have a big waste for my size. It is all how you position your platform. You can't beat the combination that Chris the tool tugger showed in his first post in this thread.

I carry my charming wit and irresistible smile whatever the climate. Always have trouble concealing it though...

Shopping for a belt and IWB holster pairing myself for a full-sized 1911.

I can conceal my 1911 very nicely owb with the right t-shirt or the way I normally dress with an untucked button shirt. I know that I am too thin to conceal a desert eagle, those are comically large for me.
