Pagani Huayra, Koenigsegg Agera R or Bugatti Veyron SS
#91
Simplified for basis of discussion.
As Amzamus said, the (Special) Editions and Trevita cars are merely visual appearance packages. Paint over any of them and you have a "standard" CCX or CCXR. I don't place much difference in them than I do the myriad differently liveried Zonda one-offs. The cars themselves are essentially the same.
The R designation simply denotes bifuel capability, which merely require different fuel components to deal with the corrosive mehtanol, and if I'm not mistaken different tuning. There is a bit more differences now Agera-to-Agera-R than CCX-to-CCXR, due to the triplex suspension, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that that setup is available on the standard Agera as an extra cost option.
As you know, the CCGT was a one-off race special, so while yes it was a different version, for the purposes of the discussion it doesn't really apply.
As far as the weight thing goes, you got me there. Unless we take into consideration that being able to get to top speed sooner (acceleration, which is affected by weight), would help achieve a higher top speed in a limited space (i.e. a test track).

Amazing!
Lol, you're relentless streetrod!
If we're splitting hairs and including one offs, editions and sub models; then maybe we should include a few more Paganis in your list?

The Absolute, the Uno, the Final Edition are all rebuilt F's
The RAK does not exist
The GJ is a rebuilt Zonda S
And the Huayra Carbon Edition is not a separate model, in fact that name does not exist.
Sorry but I am a bit a of a detail freak

I dont think so but you have doubled up on a number of cars. First off all the Zonda F coupe's and roadsters are now Clubsports.

Not really they are just zondas with a name on them, the only zondas that can be considered truly special are the PS and the 760RS

DD, check out this video I have just found from this year’s Geneva show and focus on what Christian says from 2.00 mins onwards. I think you will find that he confirms what I was saying back on page 6 and 7 of this tread about how Koenigsegg's past model structure has needed to be simplified to avoid confusion.
Koenigsegg 2013 Agera R at Geneva Motor Show 2012 - YouTube
Good grief its difficult being right all the time
(PS that was a joke by the way before anyone starts jumping all over me)

This. It is stupid that we continue arguing about something that we will never agree.

Guys this is a discussion thread, I was just putting some meat on the bones of some previous comments, which by the way were directed at DD who I have been having an interesting conversation with. If this does not interest you then please feel free to take the discussion in another direction. I'm sure we would all be interested in what you have to say
