David, sorry I missed you that day. Feel free to come by the shop and I would be glad to sign it for you. I will also be glad to give you a tour and show you some of the other vehicles we are building.

^ Glad to have you on the forum sir. I remember my first exposure to the brand was an old C/D (I believe it was a C/D, I can't find it -F!@# me) where they put a henessey viper vs a 427 S/C. I look forward to the figures on this monster.

It's definitely a full blown supercar.

Any chance of these participating in a professional racing program??? I am guessing you'd need to remove the turbos and beef up the motor but it seems within reach.

Coming in the near future. We have a dedicated media car which is being built right now. We have been building fast cars for 20 years now and are not afraid to hand them over to the magazines for independent testing:

Articles | Hennessey Performance

We have won a number of magazine cover story "shootouts" in the past in publications such as MOTOR TREND, ROAD & TRACK and CAR AND DRIVER.

I have read many of those reviews. The Viper Venom 100 was always impressive. Beat the Veyron to 200mph (but because of bad launch it lost to standing mile anyways). I expect this car will be able to get off the line much quicker, no letting the AWD Veyron get too far ahead, then blasting by it by the quarter mile and continually leaving it behind by the mile. I would love to see that.

And that isn't where it will shine the most. At a track the Venom GT is light, powerful and has lots of downforce.

I really like the Venom GT because it does everything amazingly. Acceleration, top speed, and handling. No compromise in any performance aspect. A true all-around supercar.
So make sure it gets all-around tests. Here is what I would like to see:
Car & Driver's Lightning Lap
Standing Mile (preferably vs Veyron SS and SSC Next Gen)
Nurburgring Nordschleife (both a 1200bhp and 725bhp spec)
Laguna Seca
0-200-0
