Driving instructor, I will translate for you: We have validated performance data up to 237 mph (1 mile). We have not had an opportunity to validate vmax yet but a trip to Nardo or Papenburg ATP is on the agenda. Thanks for asking, I mean, answering. ;-)

We use video vbox for all of our testing. But rather than publish our own test data, we would prefer to let others report their own findings. All in due time.

Like I said before, you and Team Speed members will be given an opportunity to see the Venom GT in person and a few will get rides.

FYI - I registered my Ariel as an Ariel, not as a "homebuilt" car...as did the rest of us in WA state. It would be interesting to hear how the VIN issue is resolved in the Venom though.

I may get neg'd for this but seriously people???? I think Mr. Hennessey has earned a bit of respect in the automotive industry as I'm sure none of you na-Sayers have ever nor will ever create anything this amazing. Bravo to you Mr. Henessey and your team and I look forward to seeing the car in person it looks amazing!!

That car looks mean, and has the muscle to back it up! Perfect combination.

I just have a couple of questions:

1) One of the criticisms i have heard of the car is the lack of "creature comforts" in the first couple of venoms. In later versions will the venom have a bit more luxury considering the substantial price tag? Im just thinking: traction control, audio system etc.

2) Will it ever go round the Top Gear track?

Thanks

The Venom GT has a full interior, AC, power mirrors, stereo with navigation, bluetooth, ipod integration and hands free cellular service. The quality of leather and carbon fiber in the interior are of the highest standards. Remember that the Venom GT was designed for maximum performance and minimal weight. That is why it is nearly 1,300 lbs lighter than a Veyron. The cockpit design is simple and minimalist. But dont mistake it for a race car or an Aerial Atom. It's a real car with all of the same things you would expect from any other modern supercar.

The Venom GT comes with traction control as it would be nearly impossible to drive wide open without it.

We have not been invited by TG as of yet. That would be a wonderful opportunity and we would be glad to give them the car if they asked.

Thanks for asking.
