Same goes for crash test, how does that work for a car this elite. Case I'm sure if it's approved to drive on the streets it has to be crash tested. I'm sure you dont leave it to computer tests.

This is a HUGE improvement! My only gripe is the rear housing of the exhaust pipes... but I think I'll wait to see one in person (and hopefully get a ride in one) before making a final judgement. Either way, impressive improvement guys at SSC!

Streetrod454-You keep harping on the same things. SSC is not intended to be all things to all people. That would be a huge mistake. They have a very specific mission, very specific set of criteria and they have it in the order they think fits them best. As an example, when the initial car set the world speed record, what did someone point out? That the headlight wasn't custom!!! I'm glad SSC had their priorities straight. SSC is a DRIVERS car first. Customers who buy one do so because of how they like the way it drives and what it can actually do on the road. You really do sound like someone who works for Bugatti.

Great questions. There has been evaulations completed. As we go into final testing there might be some very slight modifications but nothing that will change the appearance of what you've seen in the magazine.

Regarding the tailpipe/tailpipe area comments - for some reason the rear shot didn't give a great impression of the way it looks in person. As soon as I can, I'll post some additional photos.

@dmanero
Yes, you are correct it will not be left up to computer model simulations.

Screw the car, who's the girl in the video? Not Glickenhaus's wife but the russian looking girl at 1:45. Intriguing.
