Losing Lewandowski would be a disaster for Dortmund. They already sold Lucas who was the only real competition Lewandowski had in the team for the top forward position. Thinking about this I realize Dortmund needs another pure striker, 1 just isn't enough considering injuries, sales or other things that could stop him from playing. I still don't think Lewandowski will leave yet but Dortmund needs a backup soon.
Sry for turning this thread into a Bundesliga discussion

As for Spurs, I hope everything that can go wrong goes wrong in the coming season.

Chamakh has largely been a disappointment since he rejected Liverpool and arrived on a free transfer from Bordeaux two years ago. His chances of playing diminished farther after Arsenal signed Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski, the strikers, this summer.
“Fiorentina requested information on his availability and made an offer,” Arsène Wenger, the Arsenal manager, was reported to have said yesterday.
Arsenal have offered a trial to M’Baye Niang, the 17-year-old Caen striker, who has represented France at youth level.
Decent bets
Tottenham Hotspur have signed Jan Vertonghen, subject to a medical expected to be held today, after the Belgium centre back reached a compromise with Ajax over his share of the £9.7 million transfer fee.
The North London club are closer to signing Emmanuel Adebayor on a permanent contract. The Togolese was the club’s top scorer with 17 league goals during a loan spell last season.
Manchester City are likely to receive about £6.5 million, but the Barclays Premier League champions are expected to continue paying a healthy slice of his £175,000-a-week wage to maintain Tottenham’s pay structure.
Spurs remain in talks to sign Oscar, the Internacional playmaker, and are monitoring Rui Patricio, the Portugal and Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper, should Hugo Lloris, of Lyons, prove too expensive.
Juventus have entered the race for Stevan Jovetic, who is wanted by Chelsea and Arsenal and is valued by Fiorentina at £26 million. The Montenegro striker, 22, scored 14 league goals last season and began his career at Partizan, in Belgrade.
Juventus, who are willing to offer players as part of the deal, are also expected to raise their bid for Robin van Persie, the striker who will hold talks with Arsenal on his future this week.
