Not sure about this one, could be ok for the right price.
Chelsea are being linked with a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic as Roberto Di Matteo steps up his search for a new striker.
The Italian is keen to replace Didier Drogba and could now turn to the AC Milan striker after his attempts to land Hulk, Radamel Falcao and Edinson Cavani have so far proven fruitless.
Ibrahimovic has been a class act down the years and again showed what qualities he has in front of goal when starring for Sweden at Euro 2012 and Di Matteo could now make a move.
Landing Ibrahimovic would go against the remit of lowering the average age of the squad as he is now 30, but he would add more strength to the Blues attack and Di Matteo could see him as a good short-term option.
It remains to be seen what kind of fee Milan would be looking for if they did decide to sell, while the player's wages would also be sky high and Di Matteo would have to decide if it was worth shelling out all that cash on a 30-year-old who has not played in the Premier League.

I'm happy for Chelsea to buy Zlaten if that means AC Milan buy Carroll.
On a more serious note, no, I don't think he's a good fit for Chelsea. The man has an ego the size of his country and I'm yet to see it justified.

Not sure I agree Gilmore. I don't think it's gonna happen anyway though considering Zlatan's age and the money he would cost for Chelsea. I do however think he could do really well in Chelsea. He has always been underestimated in England because of his rather bad results in the CL. But in the league, both Serie A and La Liga, he has always been a beast and I don't see him slowing down just yet. He still is Serie A's top scorer and has been voted as the best player in the league 3 times.

I think his wages would probably be the biggest hang up for us. At 30, he isnt exactly the direction we want to go in. That being said, for the right price (and wages) I wouldnt mind seeing what he could do at Chelsea.
If we could get him at a good price, I think it would be fun to see him in the Premier League.

I only ever watch him play in the Champions League or for his Country.
I'd have thought at his age, he would be a prime target for one of these new Russian/Chinese clubs that are happy to be extraordinary money for 'big' names. Make a lot of £ quickly and then retire, job done.

I know this is a VERY old clip, and he's certainly progressed in years since then, but one of my all-time favorite goals. Pay close attention to the guy who tries to square up with him when he first gets the ball. Zlatan pushes him aside like a child... And I think he's definitely got a few good years left in him.
