The French Connection was definitely the selling point, I'm sure. I think because of Arsene and Henry and Pires and Vieira and etc. etc. a lot of Frenchies coming up the ranks identify with Arsenal. We've had a good history with French and Dutch players. Koscienly has taken a while to grow, but he's one of my favorite players now. So fast, and always hustling and willing to put his body on the line.

Justin, I'm sure if he does well here City will be gunning for him.

We've got a laundry list of unwanted players to offload, I hope we can get that done too.

Agree, Mertesacker needs to go and we need another solid defender. I'm not sure if we have a good offensive playmaker either like Özil or Modric. Too many defensive central midfielders...

 

Yeah, we'll see how Wilshere comes back. We're definitely missing a Nasri/Fabregas type guy. Well, "type player" I should say... Nasri's a dick.

Rumours that Spurs could get Sahin in return for Modric. I don't quite understand where all these rumours for Spurs are originating from, they haven't got a manager and it isn't like the Chairman has made a commitment to spend more ££££££.

QPR have signed Diakite, now I don't know if it is just me, but do QPR only sign players that have failed with other premier league sides? It seems to me that their first 11 is mainly made up of other teams rejects. Odd.

 

The way they seem to be building their team, it's almost as if they want Allardyce to come and manage them! He seems to be the only manager in the prem who can take a bunch of misfits and get them doing something half decent!
