I agree with you on RVP and I hope that Arsenal sells him in order to create a better all round team. Sure, we won't find an equal forward but we have Poldi now who is very good and with an improved midfield and defense I'm sure we can be a better team allround. Apparently Dortmund's Kagawi is for sale. He could be a very good alternative to Götze imo. Maybe not quite as much as a playmaker, but he reminds me of Nasri. And he would cost only around 10 mil £. Arsenal needs to sign Verthongen now quickly.

 

I'd be happy to keep him at Everton! Though...Everton could use the money more than anything else...

 

Everton bought him in 2008 from Standard for 20 million €. I don't think he dropped in value, he played 100 games for Everton in the PL.
It's not because I'm from Belgium that I'm saying this, but he's a great player and is better than some players from teams like Chelsea, ManU and ManCity.

I hope Arsenal is going to keep van Persie, him with Podolski in front with Walcott and Hazard on the flanks would be great.
And if they buy Verthongen too, well that would be nice team.
Verthongen is ready to play for a top 5 PL team.

If Chelsea wins against Newcastle than it's gonna be Chelsea or Tottenham for the 4th spot.
Newcastle surprised everybody this season, congrats to their players and manager.

With some of the teams who are likely to spend more money looking strongly at Hazard, he would be a tough pickup for Arsenal. I just hope these guys can see it the same way you see it, and they decided to join up at Arsenal. Also, Wilshere will be back next year and I think he's developing into a world class player to back these guys up. Koscielny makes boneheaded mistakes but his skill has grown and his speed is insane - he's fitting in well with Vermaelen. And Alex Song has developed into one of the best and most underrated passers in the league. We ought to trade away Squillaci and Mertersacker and get a couple more strong defenders and I really feel we can compete with anyone. Mertersacker can't cut it. It's no coincidence our run from the middle of the pack up to 3rd place occurred mostly with him on the sideline.

I dream that our owners will lay it all out and fill Van Persie's pockets and woo Hazard/Gotze and some killer defenders. If they want to compete for trophies they've got to compete for players.

 

I'd like to see Hazard in an Arsenal jersey, it would be a great team for him. He'd play all the games, could do his thing and with Wenger as coach; well, we all know that he knows how to make young players better, even world-class.
It would be nice if he would go to ManU but I don't know if he would be SAF first pick.

If he goes to Arsenal and plays good for a few seasons, well than he should go to Real Madrid; good for everyone (with everyone I mean Arsenal (or ManU), Real Madrid and Hazard. The rest is fvcked)
