^ nothing like stirring up a hornet's nest (even more). I really hope JT brings his A game to the rest of the Finals. He was a key piece of the series win over the Lakers and will figure prominently into any Dallas wins against the Heat.

Idk what the stats are, but I doubt Portland contained Dirk as well as the Heat have so far.

I'm surprised by the trash talk from Terry considering he's been absent from this series. Not to mention the fact that the Mavs are the veteran team and usually aren't the ones to take the low road first, if at all.

The shot Bosh made was a big shot, but it was also a shot that he's comfortable with and the only difficult part about it was the pressure of needing to make it; no arguing that.

Edit: "Breaking News" on NBA.com is Mark Jackson named headcoach of the Warriors. I don't know how new that is though.

I'm ok with selling a charge, but some of the stuff Lebron does is just dumb. I don't remember what series it was, but when he acted like he got hit in the face then winked over at the bench.. that was pathetic. I understand why they do it, but I wish blatant acting would be whistled as a technical foul or change of possession or something. This isn't soccer.

Just spent a few minutes looking at the game logs from the post season and Dirk is playing the most minutes this series than he has in the past 3 series, and scoring 2nd lowest compared to his averages from the last 3 series (and he's taking more shots than ever).

Lebron really hasn't been doing much though. Less shots, less FTs, less assists etc.

We all know there's more to a players performance than just the stat sheet though and that's true for everyone, Dirk and Lebron included.

Eh, slashing and driving to the basket are two different moves to me.

Same. Shannon Brown is definitely a slasher, as in moving without the ball and losing your defender.

He's also pretty good at driving when there's an open lane. He's not that great in traffic though.

More.

DALLAS — For the most part, the Mavericks have expressed their admiration of the abilities of the Heat, and spoken of the difficulties of handling Miami's scheme and superstars.

Monday, however, DeShawn Stevenson and Jason Terry took a pause from all the praise.

"Coach said it before the series we have a chance to push the ball like we like because (Dwyane Wade) complains to the ref a lot," Stevenson said. "We've got to take advantage of that. He does it all the time. He did it like seven times (in Game 3)."

Before the series, they were shown tape of more than 20 situations in which Wade didn't get back on defense, after believing he was fouled. Stevenson didn't just reveal this strategy to one reporter; he repeated it several times during the open media sessions, using the word "overreacting" in reference to Wade. Stevenson added the Mavericks are careful not to foul with too much force, because the Heat players are "great actors."
