Bad outing by Barca. They had their chances but didn't capitalize... especially Messi.

Hats off to the Gunners. They played very well and beat Barca at its own game. Good on them, they deserved the win.

It was kinda Messi's fault they lost. He should have passed the ball to Villa instead of trying to score himself. That would have been the 2:0.

Imo Arsenal plays much more entertaining offensive football than Barca. Barca plays like in handball, 1 million passes around and then a quick pass in the middle and score. Arsenal uses a quicker and more forceful offensive with lightning fast counters and usually scores more spectacular goals.

I disagree highly with your statement about Arsenal playing a more beautiful offensive fotball than Barca but since I'm on my phone I was hoping I wouldn't have to elaborate

Well then I'm sure you really enjoyed Barca vs Inter last year since Barca was so dominant and offensive the entire match...
You can either blame the extreme agonizing bore of that game on Inter's defensive strategy, OR you can realize that Barca's offense really isn't that beautiful and spectacular to watch. It's just passing around for 20 minutes and then trying finding a gap. Same thing all the time...
