Several solid knees to the stomach hurt Brock and stopped any real attempts at takedowns. Brock standing had no chance and that was a wicked kick. If you watched the last episode of "the reem" you'd see one of overeem's training partners talking about how ridiculously hard he hits.
It was funny that Joe Rogan was talking about Brock's power (we know overeem has a somewhat suspect chin) but not at all about Alistair's. Much gets made about brawling fighters with power like Carwin or Rogers, but it's the real kickboxers that show how much power a technical striker over 250 lbs has.
REALLY looking forward to JDS vs Reem.

Overeem vs. Dos Santos should be a great fight, both of those guys will just go at it.
I was a little disappointed with the Diaz fight. I thought that Ceronne looked tired, and lethargic. Not sure if had any lingering issues, but I've seen him look a lot better.
As soon as I saw Brock trying to stand and bang with Overeem I knew it was all over. Those knees to the body and then that kick that put him down were just brutal.
Sad to see Brock go, but it may be for the best if he is never going to 100% after his illness.
