If I could find it(I am not very good at finding things like this on the internet twice)I would!! However it may not be as "huge" as I previously thought it was....

It was in Sports Illustrated a couple of weeks ago - an excerpt from the book. I read it in the airport.
The whole Beckham/Donovan thing is like if I went back to Kindergarten after being in college, and the smartest kindergarten kid (who had been held back from 1st grade) called me out because I didn't practice my ABC's with them every day... Beckham is just on a different plane. Those kids gotta realize that sometimes there just has to be a person who is the exception.
In the article, some players were even kind of saying they were pissed because Beckham only paid for his own dinner when they all went out to eat together... I don't expect Chris to pay for me when we go out to eat

There is complete lack of cohesion on the team and both players, the team ownership, and the representatives have nothing but themselves to blame. I read the article and it very clearly supported that theory, regardless how skewed it was. Fact of the matter is that soccer in the US will never be in the near future of the caliber you find overseas and that this "beckham experiment" was a poorly executed mistake which the powers that be will hopefully learn from...
