Transmission shop

Can anyone recommend a good transmission shop in the LA area?

I helped my gf into a Volvo S60, what a deal we got! Too bad the transmission is absolutely falling apart. Can anyone recommend a place that can do a rebuild for a reasonable price? A new trans is ~5k so we're hoping to not have to go down that route.

Thanks

I used Leons Transmission a while back on my 98 Cobra... They did a full rebuild, and when the reverse synchro went out, they honered their warranty and had it fixed the same day.

They have a few locations...
