I find all of this very hard to believe. I think that Nissan really dropped the ball with the marketing of this vehicle and now are scrambling to do damage control. Even all the BS about the 7:29 Nurburgring lap. There's no way a stock GT-R could do that, and it has become pretty obvious.
It's a shame too because the car is pretty impressive and could stand just fine on its own merits. Despite all that I have one on order.
