I have considered painting the lowers but I like the way it looks black all along the bottom. Plus, I don't want to worry about scraping it.

+1. Great pics Dana! I love your car, but that MC12 is sick! Looks like the owner got a fuse cover or something stuck when he closed the front hood. You can clearly see what appears to be a cover of some sort sticking out from under the top edge of the vent just aft of the front wheels.
